Dr. Vargas has been practicing dentistry in Bowie, MD since 1991. Over the years, he has received many accolades from various colleagues, organizations and publications. He received an award for research on dental implant alloys from the prestigious American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and his work on the subject has been published in a top scientific journal. Dr. Vargas is also a member of various dental organizations such as the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association.
When Dr. Vargas isn’t helping his patients have beautiful smiles, you might find him doing a variety of favorite activities. He may be relaxing with a good book or watching a favorite movie. A self-proclaimed movie buff, he is a fan of such classics as The Godfather, Rocky, and Back to the Future. During the fall, don’t be surprised if Dr. Vargas is spending his Sunday watching the Washington Football Team or catching a Washington Nationals game in the spring. Dr. Vargas is also a lover of the outdoors, enjoying opportunities to swim and kayak. No matter what Dr. Vargas is doing, he believes in seeking out all life has to offer.
