Why You Should Never Delay Even Routine Dental Care
We don’t know about you, but we are thrilled to have warm weather and the start of the official start of summer around the corner. We know that many of our patients have busy schedules, so hopefully, you will get some time to relax during the summer. If we recommended a dental treatment for you or a loved one during your last visit, now is the perfect time to schedule your appointment. Delaying or avoiding treatment can cause serious problems with your oral health. Read on to learn more.
Schedule Recommended Treatments Today!
We know that many of our patients are extremely busy, and sometimes it can be difficult to fit a dental appointment into your schedule. Now that the summer season is on its way, we recommend scheduling your appointment soon before the hustle and bustle of fall and the holiday season begins.
Avoid a Dental Emergency
When a problem area in the mouth is detected and we recommend treatment, it is important to schedule your treatment as soon as possible. Dental decay and other issues do not heal on their own. In fact, they will continue to worsen and progress until there is some form of intervention. The longer a problem is left untreated, the greater the chance you have of experiencing a dental emergency. We would hate for that to happen and ruin any plans you may have. The longer the time between diagnosis and treatment, the greater your risk of needing more involved or additional treatment.
Be Honest
If you are having reservations about visiting our office due to nerves or dental anxiety, be sure to notify our team. We will do everything we can to make sure you are informed about the treatment and remain comfortable while under our care.
